TV Pirveli journalist Giorgi Mamniashvili, who was performing his professional duties, was detained at the protest taking place on Rustaveli Avenue.
According to the television company, the newsroom lost contact with the journalist at 22:30. A few minutes earlier, he had sent footage of activists being detained.
After several minutes of searching, it was discovered that he had been detained and was being transported to the Digomi detention facility.
On November 22, the 360th day of continuous protest, police also detained eight demonstrators.
