According to the Ministry of Economy, Georgia’s economy grew by 6.0% in October.
The Ministry also reported that the average economic growth from January to October was 7.6%.
“In October 2025, the turnover of VAT-paying enterprises increased by 7.0% compared to the same month of the previous year, while the number of newly registered enterprises reached 6,075.
In October 2025, significant positive contributions to economic growth came from the information and communication, transport and storage, healthcare, financial and insurance activities, real estate-related activities, manufacturing, administrative and support services, as well as arts, entertainment, and recreation sectors. During January–October, high economic growth was supported by positive trends observed in foreign trade.
From January to October 2025, exports increased by 6.8%, reaching USD 5.8 billion, while domestic exports (excluding re-exports) grew by 4.6% over the ten-month period.
Income from travel (tourism) from January to September 2025 increased by 5.1% year-on-year, reaching a record high of USD 3.6 billion.
In November 2025, the improvement in Georgia’s rating outlook by Fitch highlighted the country’s economic resilience to external shocks. According to IMF forecasts, Georgia is expected to have the highest medium-term economic growth among countries in the region and Europe during 2025–2030, averaging 5.4%,” the Ministry of Economy stated.
