The Georgian Energy Development Fund has sent nine generators to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
The Ministry of Economy reported that the shipment of the generators to Ukraine was carried out on the instruction of Georgian Dream Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
“The shipment includes nine generators of various types and capacities. It should be noted that JSC Georgian Energy Development Fund ensured the procurement and transportation of the generators within a short timeframe and in accordance with the set deadlines.
The humanitarian cargo will be delivered to Georgia’s embassy in Kyiv and subsequently transferred to Ukraine free of charge. Ukraine is expected to receive the humanitarian assistance sent from Georgia by land within a few days,” the statement released by the Ministry of Economy said.
