According to Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgian Dream, Ukraine today is in a position where it can neither continue the war nor bring it to an end.
“Today, the situation in Ukraine is difficult. It is such that neither Ukraine nor its government can continue the war, nor can they end it. This is the greatest challenge. The entire situation and the war have reached a deadlock. Continuing the war is difficult, and ending the war is also difficult.
Yesterday, President Zelensky’s statement confirms this as well: Ukraine is forced to choose between two bad options today. This is exactly what they wanted to happen to us as well that we would have no real choice and be forced to face two bad options,” said Shalva Papuashvili.
The United States has prepared a 28-point peace plan that would require Ukraine to cede additional territory, reduce the size of its armed forces, and agree never to join NATO.
On November 21, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Ukrainian people, calling for unity. According to Zelensky, Ukraine may face a difficult choice – either losing its dignity or risking the loss of its main international partner.
