The United States will provide the Ministry of Defense of Georgia with goods worth $10,431,460 as a grant.
The decree approving the grant allocation from the US government to Georgia’s Defense Ministry is signed by Irakli Kobakhidze.
The grant includes communication equipment and other goods, though the specific items have not been detailed.
Despite a pause in the strategic partnership between the US and Georgia, cooperation and assistance in the defense sector continue. This year, the United States also delivered a VW Tiguan and 20 other vehicles to Georgia’s Defense Ministry as part of a grant.
